Kerala, at the Southern tip of India, is known for its verdant, tropical weather. Home to a number of whole aromatic spices, it's no wonder that Kerala boasts of its own ingenious cooking styles. This blend will help you to recreate an authentic Kerala flavor every time you use it. The robust, smoky aroma of cumin and fenugreek mixed with the sweetness of cinnamon and cardamom make this Keralan mix a chart-buster. To use, combine this masala with coconut milk and a dash of curry leaves and quickly sautée. To accentuate its saucy, smoky undertones, use the sauce with chicken, seafood, lentils, and mixed vegetables.
