Madras Masala (Indian Curry)

Our Madras masala is the cornerstone to any kitchen and a good hot blend with which to start exploring Asian curries. Madras, a city of South India, creates its aromatic, hot and spicy blend with chillies, cloves, black pepper and many other authentic Indian spices. Coming from a devout Hindu culture, one can rarely find the Madras curry smothering chicken, beef or seafood in Madras itself, but the spice definitely agrees with the animal meat. The blend goes extremely well with vegetables, tomato-based dishes, and mixed with coconut or yogurt. It also makes a lovely marinade when freshly crushed ginger, garlic and lemon juice are added to the heady mix. Those who love their dishes with a fiery touch must go for this curry blend.
